Welcome to Marbury Middle, and Coach Lollar's Social Studies class. Here is a little about me:

I am starting my 13th year at Marbury Middle School, and 21st in Education overall.  I graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS with a B.A> in History, Minor in Education, and a concentration in American Studies.  I then received my Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Belhaven College in Jackson, MS in 2015. 

Outside of the classroom, I also enjoy coaching.  This year, I am excited to be joining the Varsity Softball staff at Marbury High School.  I will also be venturing into a new sport, assisting with Marbury Middle Girls' Basketball.

I come from a family of educators, with a mother who retired after 31 years all in Autauga County Schools. My wife, Becky is also an educator in our system, and our daughter Emily will be an 8th grader at MMS this year.  We also have a five year old Silver Lab, Stella who is just like another daughter to us.

Away from school, I enjoy cooking, all things Alabama Athletics (ROLL TIDE!), music, and traveling with my family.  I look forward to a great year this year!
